Terms of service

These terms of service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and SenseCore AI Ltd (“we”, “us”) regarding your use of the SenseCore platform and related services.

By creating an account, signing up for a pilot, or otherwise using the services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the services.

SenseCore provides cloud-based energy intelligence software, including:

• AI-based energy forecasting (Temporal Fusion Transformer model)
• Anomaly detection (Z-Score, IQR and Isolation Forest ensemble)
• Fuel Poverty Risk Score (FPRS) generation
• Compliance report generation (SECR, ESOS, ERIC, SHDF, EPC)
• API access and developer SDKs

We may add, modify or deprecate features over time. We will give reasonable notice of material reductions in functionality.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information
• Keeping your login credentials and API keys secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access

Our standard subscription tiers are:

• Pilot: £349 per month, up to 10 buildings
• Portfolio: £999 per month, up to 30 buildings
• Enterprise: from £2,500 per month, unlimited buildings, custom SLAs

All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT (which will be added where applicable). A 17% discount applies to annual prepayment.

Subscriptions are billed in advance. Failed payments may result in service suspension after 14 days' notice.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not refund the unused portion.

You agree not to:

• Use the services for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract our source code or models
• Resell or sublicense the services without our prior written consent
• Submit data that infringes the rights of others
• Attempt to access other customers' data or compromise the platform's security
• Use the services to develop a competing product

You retain all rights, title and interest in the data you submit to the platform (“Customer Data”). We do not claim ownership.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, copy and transmit Customer Data solely as needed to deliver the services to you.

We will not use your data to train models that benefit other customers without your explicit written consent. Aggregate, anonymised statistics may be used to improve overall platform performance.

SenseCore retains all rights, title and interest in the platform, software, ML models, documentation and methodology.

The Fuel Poverty Risk Score (FPRS) methodology is proprietary to SenseCore AI Ltd.

Our peer-reviewed research papers (covering forecasting, anomaly detection, FPRS, occupancy inference and carbon reporting) are published openly on Zenodo under Creative Commons licences and may be cited freely.

We will treat Customer Data and any non-public information you share with us as confidential, and we'll use the same degree of care we use for our own confidential information (and at minimum, a reasonable standard).

You agree to treat as confidential any non-public information we share with you about the platform's architecture, models, or business operations.

We will use reasonable efforts to keep the services available, accurate and secure.

Forecasts are predictions, not guarantees. We openly publish our error metrics (the platform's Temporal Fusion Transformer model achieves a 10.31% MAPE benchmark on the BDG2 dataset).

Except as expressly set out in these Terms or any agreed SLA, the services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

For Enterprise plans, additional service-level commitments may apply as set out in a separate written agreement.

Subject to the paragraph below, our total liability to you under or in connection with these Terms is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data, whether in contract, tort or otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under English law.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms or fail to pay fees when due, after giving you reasonable notice and opportunity to remedy the breach.

On termination, your access to the services will end. We'll keep your Customer Data available for export for 30 days, after which it will be deleted (subject to any legal retention obligations).

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification, and we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the services after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
